Homemade Pumpkin Play-dough
1 cup flour
1/2 cup salt
1 tsp cooking oil
1 tsp cream of tarter
1 cup water
2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
enough red and yellow food coloring to make a nice orange color
Measure ingredients into saucepan and stir together well before heating. Over medium heat stir dough constantly until it forms a ball. When it starts to pull away from the sides somewhat and clump together it is ready to dump onto a cutting board or the counter. (NOTE: have some extra flour on hand to use during this process) Knead dough into a ball, using extra flour to firm up if feeling sticky.
Cool and store in a covered plastic container or a zip lock bag with all air out.
Be aware that your sauce pan will be a little crusty after making this, so let it soak after pan cools down.
